The Office of Scholarly Resources was created in 1992 when the Health Sciences Division sought a way to bring together several functions that serve the needs of students and faculty.
The Office has three main units:
- Augustus C Long Health Sciences Library (HSL)
Mission:
To exercise leadership in the development and delivery of information resources and services in support of education, research, and health care at CUMC.

Mission:
To provide expert support to the faculty and administration in the areas of teaching, learning, and evaluation that will facilitate ongoing quality improvements in the curriculum and assist in the promotion of excellence in health science education.
