Photograph Album, [ca. 1929]
1 volume

SCOPE AND CONTENT:
Album of photographs illustrating the Andrew Syngrou Hospital in Athens, Greece, undated but probably ca. 1929. While it contains exterior views of the hospital and its environs, the bulk of the photographs are of interiors. Among the views are those of the microbiology laboratory, director's office, patient wards, lecture hall, x-ray room, pharmacy, pathological museum, and out-patient clinic.

PROVENANCE:
The first page of the album bears an inscription dated March 29, 1929 from a Prof. G. [Photmoy?] to Haven Emerson (1874-1957), at that time Prof. of Public Health at Columbia University.
