This is the comprehensive list of all e-journals subscribed to by Columbia University. Journals are listed by title, publisher, society, organization, or subject.
ACCESS: MUST have active Columbia UNI to access from off-campus.


NYS Psychiatric E-Journal List
This list includes E-journals subscribed to by the New York State Psychiatric Institute. The NYSPI E-journals are NOT listed in the CU comprehensive list.
ACCESS: These journals may not be available from off-campus.

Free E-Journal Lists

PubMed Central
PubMed Central is a digital archive of life sciences journal literature managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). It is not a journal publisher.
ACCESS: PubMed Central (PMC) is free and unrestricted.

BioMed Central
BioMed Central is "an independent online publishing house committed to providing immediate open access to the peer-reviewed biological and medical research it publishes".
ACCESS: BioMed Central journal articles are free.

FreeMedicalJournals.com
This WEB site assembles the issues of medical journals that are free online. Some of the journals are indexed in Medline, some are not. Some of the journals exist only electronically, some are electronic versions of the print journals. This site may serve as a complementary source of full-text e-journal articles.
ACCESS: FreeMedicalJournals.com is free.

Instructions for logging into restricted resources from off campus
When prompted for User Name, type your University Network ID; do not type @columbia and do not type uppercase letters.

When prompted for Password, type the password associated with your University Network ID. Do not type uppercase letters, unless you created your password with uppercase letters.

Report problems with electronic resources

Please complete the Electronic Resources Problem Report Form at https://www1.columbia.edu/sec/cu/lweb/requestit/problem/. You will be prompted to enter your UNI and password.This form gives our IT staff information that is helpful in trying to diagnose the problem you are experiencing.
