Winter Session Hours

HSL Winter Hours
Monday - Thursday 8 am to 11 pm
Friday 8 am to 8 pm
Saturday 10 am to 11 pm
Sunday Noon to 11 pm

The library will be closed on these days.

  • Thanksgiving - Thursday Nov 26th 2009
  • University Holiday - Friday Nov 27th 2009
  • Christmas Eve - Thursday Dec 24th
  • Christmas Day - Friday Dec 25th 2009
  • New Years Eve - Thursday Dec 31st 2009
  • New Years Day - Friday Jan 1st 2010

The Circulation Desk's Hours

The circulation desk closes 15 minutes prior to library closing. Please complete all circulation transactions by that time.

Inter Library Loan (ILL) Hours

ILL is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Archives & Special Collections Hours

The Archives & Special Collections reading room is open Monday-Friday, 9:15-4:45, by appointment only. Telephone and email reference is available Monday-Friday, 9-5.

Because of ongoing construction, the reading room may be inaccessible at certain times. Please call or email the dept. in advance for further information: 212 305-7931;
