Library Training and Instructional Services Classes The Reference Librarians and the Information Commons staff work hard to offer you the most valued informational/instructional courses desired. Every semester, the librarians and Information Commons develop new classes and improve upon the old. Check the Class Calendar to see the variety of classes offered the when they are held. If you have any suggestions for a new class please email hs-library@columbia.edu with your suggestion. Course Integrated Training Sessions The Instructional Services Department will develop a class and tailor it to your student's needs. if you would like to add a library/technology component to your course, contact Konstantina Matsoukas 212-305-1411, km2056@columbia.edu . Classes on the Road The Instructional Services Department will be happy to come to your office and conduct a course for your department on any database the Library has or on some special software programs. Drop-in and Hands-on Sessions The Librarians offer drop-in classes for Ovid (Medline) and Pubmed (Medline) every week behind the Reference Desk. Ovid is offered Tuesdays at 12:00 and Thursdays at 1:00. Pubmed is offered on Wednesdays at 12:00.
