Eating and Drinking
Eating and drinking are permitted in the Leisure Reading Room only. Food and drink are strictly prohibited in areas where computers or other types of equipment or materials are located.

Lost and Found
Any items found and returned will be kept in the lost and found for 2 weeks. The lost and found is located at the circulation desk, in the lobby of the Library.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any area of the Library.

Recycling
As part of CUMC's commitment to recycling, large blue bins are located throughout the Library for the collection of white paper. The collection point for other recyclables is located immediately outside the Library.

Quiet Study
Quiet study areas can be found in these locations.

• Hammer Building 3rd floor classrooms
• Study Lounge on the 1st floor of the Bard Building
• 24 hour room in the Hammer Building
• After hours room in the Hammer Building

Users are asked to please refrain from conversations and group study in this area.

Security
The Library uses an electronic security system to protect the collections. Items not properly charged out will trigger an alarm when leaving the Library. To protect personal property, never leave possessions unattended. Any loss, theft, or other problems should be reported to the the Library Circulation Desk or the Security Desk immediately.
