Services
Literature Searches
Librarians perform customized literature searches according to your research needs; both local and restricted databases can be searched. Fees are based on the number of citations retrieved, plus a service charge. Searches can be completed and provided for you within 24 hours. Email us or come in and talk to us about your search.
Reference Services
We will serve you through email, with the telephone or, our favorite, in person. The Reference Desk is staffed from 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday during the Spring and Fall Semesters. Check the semester schedule to learn the weekend and summer hours. Call 212-305-3692.
Subject Guides
Librarians have taken major medical subject areas and created quick guides for you. We'll lead you to the most popular reference book or circulating book. Librarian Instructed Ovid Classes
Librarians teach Ovid (Medline, CINAHL, PSYCHINFO) classes are held every Tuesday at 1:00 and every Thursday at 12:00 behind the Reference desk. No need to call or sign-up prior to the class. Just come in and let us know that you are here for the class.
