Request Materials



Eligibility

Service is provided for current students, faculty and staff of Columbia University programs located on the Health Sciences campus, and physicians and staff of Columbia University Medical Center. Students, faculty and staff enrolled in or employed by programs located on the Morningside Campus should request Interlibrary Loan service from a library on that campus. Staff of the New York State Psychiatric Institute should request Interlibrary Loan Service from the NYSPI Library (543-5673).

Restrictions
There are no restrictions on the number of items that may be requested, however, if a large number of requests are submitted simultaneously they may be processed in batches.

The ILL office is subject to US Copyright law and cannot requests copies of articles that are more than 50 pages in length. Most libraries do not lend journals; borrowing an entire issue or volume is unlikely.
