The Unlisted Drugs Pharm-Aid lists each drug in one or more appropriate categories: pharmacological activity or :class of drug" (e.g. penicillins, peptides, etc.), "research stage" (e.g. in cliical testing or use); application (e.g. dental, device, diagnostic, veterinary, etc); specialty use (e.g. dermatology) or source (e.g human, medicinal plant, etc.).
